Terenine Technology Solutions Becomes Emerald Sponsor of 2011 devLINK Technical Conference

04.04.2011

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee – April 5, 2011 – Terenine Technology Solutions is pleased to announce it is sponsoring devLINK 2011, a technical conference designed to educate industry professionals on current and emerging technologies. The August 16-19 event will be held for the first time in Chattanooga at the Chattanooga Convention Center. The sole purpose of this non-profit organization is to bring industry experts together to present the latest information available at a low cost to attendees.

“Despite annual declines in corporate training budgets and attendance at large technology conferences, devLINK has continued to grow year after year,” said John Kellar, senior enterprise architect for Terenine and founder of the conference. “In 2010 we sold out for the fourth time with nearly 800 attendees and a 98.9 percent turnout rate. This year the Chattanooga venue will allow for an even larger event.”

Kellar is a regular technical presenter at local and regional events. He has delivered solutions in a variety of markets including healthcare, government, financial services, gaming and manufacturing. In addition to being founder and chairman of the devLINK Technical Conference, John has served as a member of the Nashville .NET User Group Board of Directors and a charter member of the Little Rock .NET User Group where he served two years as Vice-President. He has been recognized as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) since 2007.

“We are excited to be a part of bringing devLINK to Chattanooga. We recruited John Kellar last year to help anchor our product development team, and we were very impressed with what he has done with this event,” said Dave Carney, president of Terenine. “The conference has been held in Nashville for the past five years, so bringing it here is a nice win for Chattanooga with the economic impact that 800 or more attendees will have.”

The conference will pack three full days with more than 120 sessions for technology professionals such as software developers, database administrators, system administrators, project managers, business analysts and more. Attendees will enjoy Chattanooga traditions with activities scheduled at the Chattanooga Choo Choo and a Chattanooga Lookouts baseball game.
